At Railtechniek van Herwijnen B.V. we are looking for Electrical Fitters for the installation of our conveyors at project locations within the EU. We are looking for people for the long term that we can hire on a contract base, but are also interested in candidates on a project base (short term).
Railtechniek van Herwijnen B.V. is one of the market leaders in the development, manufacturing and installation of overhead and floor conveyor systems. 70% of our projects are for international customers, for example Scania, Audi, Cannondale, Gazelle and Palfinger, at various locations throughout Europe.
As an Electrical Fitter for Railtechniek you can benefit from:

After the mechanical fitters have built up the construction on location, as an Electrical your job is to install the electrical components. In between projects you work on the assembly of the electrical switch cabinet and complementary parts.
Main responsibilities:
- Install electrical equipment and wiring according to the blueprints and installation manuals;
- Installation of the electrical switch cabinet;
- Stay in contact with the project leader and service department.
- A Electrical Fitter/Electrotechnical certificate, or practical work experience in a similar work environment.
- Effective English reading and communication skills (Knowledge of the German language is an advantage).
- Willing to work on project locations throughout the EU.
- A forklift- and SCC basic certificate are a nice to have, but not a must.
- Able to follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures.
- Able to work well in a team.
- A valid driving license is a plus.
- European Citizenship.
