Hunter Douglas Europe has purchased a 250m long chain conveyor system for powder-coating of ceiling panels via the main contractor Glasbeek Finish B.V.
This type of system is manufactured and distributed by subsidiary Stewart Gill Conveyors Ltd in England. They are a well-known enterprise in the industry of overhead conveyor systems, both in the UK and around the world.
The advantage of this system is that it consists of a compact system in a box girder profile, where every 20cm there is a suspension lip that can carry a load of 113 kilos. This allows relatively heavy loads to be carried at a relatively short pitch, increasing production volume and minimizing factory space usage.
