Calculator Industrial automation

Railtechniek van Herwijnen Group is one of the market leaders in the development, manufacturing and installation of overhead and floor conveyor systems, which are built by our project teams on various locations worldwide, for big international customers like for example Scania, Audi, Cannondale, Gazelle and Palfinger. Our project teams consist of experienced mechanical leaders, plc programmers, and electrical and mechanical fitters. 

Currently we are looking for a Calculator industrial automation as an addition to our current sales engineering team. In this role you are responsible for preparing quotations and order calculations. You proceed as follows:

• You assess the customer information obtained for each conveyors system order. Based on this information you engineer the bespoke conveyor system HiCAD..

• You process all relevant project components in the design and overview drawings that you made (materials, software and labor hours and transport costs) in a detailed and clear calculation.

• Where necessary, request quotes from suppliers.

• You keep cost and sales prices up to date in Exact.

• You assist the customer with questions and if a recalculation is necessary, you take care of this and process the adjustments in the quotation.

Job requirements: 

• A technical degree, or practical experience in a similar job; 

• Experience with 3D CAD Drawing; 

• Affinity with industrial automation; 

• In possession of good communication skills; 

• You are eager, stress resistant and can keep an overview; 

• Effective English reading and communication skills.
