Suspension bridges

Bridge cranes can move material across industrial environments and in the workshop. Many industries use bridge cranes for their manufacturing and maintenance operations. For lifting, moving and precise positioning, there are 2 types of bridge crane designs to choose from, depending on the intended use.

Types of bridge crane design

1. The first type of bridge crane system is one in which the bridge is fixed to a set of trolleys that run precisely along the longitudinal tracks. This type of crane is suitable to be integrated into a monorail circuit or for precise positioning above a dipping tank or machine.

2.  The second type of bridge crane system is one in which the bridge is flexibly suspended under the set of trolleys This solution allows the operator to move the bridge and load around obstacles.

Both bridge crane constructions consist of standard components and are easy to assemble, extend or modify with bolted joints.

Bridge crane variants

In addition to the standard options for bridge cranes, we also develop cranes that are tailored to customer specifications. One such example is a bridge cross crane joint with a drop/lift section that was built for a timber factory. By using bolted safety components, the load can safely be transferred from a bridge crane to a monorail system without problems.

Double beam bridge cranes are used for bigger loads and are available as a standard option.
